Gluten-Free Holiday Desserts:
I wanted to compile 30 of my favorite gluten-free holiday desserts for upcoming holiday festivities. Because I know it can be overwhelming at times to figure out what to make for special holidays that everyone will enjoy. And I really hope this list helps make things easier for you all.
What baking staples I keep in my pantry:
I always have almond flour, sprouted gluten-free oats, coconut flour, tapioca flour, coconut oil, Primal Palate baking seasonings, medjool dates, flaxseed meal, mini chocolate chips, Nut or seed butters, and either coconut sugar or maple sugar. But if you don’t have any of these on hand they can easily be found at your local health food market. I personally love shopping for these items on Amazon, Sprouts, Mothers Market, and Whole foods.
It was hard to narrow it down to just 9 of my favorite gluten-free cookies but here are some of my favorites. And the nice thing about these cookies is that they are all super easy to prepare. But there are plenty more on the website in case you are looking for something else in particular.
No bake desserts:
No bake desserts are my jam! Because these are the perfect treat when you aren’t in the mood for baking. And what I love about these no bake desserts is that they can be meal prepped ahead of time, stored in freezer, and taste delicious at room temperature or straight out of the freezer.
If you feel like gingerbread but don’t want to bake try these No Bake Gingerbread Donut Holes.
We all know that making cinnamon rolls are a process, so try these No Bake Cinnamon Roll Cookies.
Snicker stuffed dates need I say more?
If you love Rolo’s candied then you will love these No Bake Caramel Delight Chocolate Bites.
I love cookie dough and these No bake cookie dough bars are a sure winner.
Snickers are my favorite candies, but these healthier No Bake Raw Snicker Bars are my new jam.
I think that crisp are a great option if entertaining this holiday season. Because they can be made all year round with whatever type of fruit are in season and they can be meal prepped in advance. So it is one less thing you need to worry about while entertaining. My favorite winter combinations are pears, cranberries, and apples.
If you are looking for a holiday breakfast or brunch option these festive breads will be the perfect addition to your menu. The options are endless depending on what you are in the mood for. And these can also be meal prepped ahead of time. But if I had to choose my favorite I would have to go with my banana bread with candied pecan.
Here are a few of my favorite options for cakes or a pie.But I must say I am not a huge fan of pies so all I have is my delicious squash pie that I have created. But to be honest, I feel like this squash pie is all you really need in your life, as far as pies go.
I personally find bar form desserts to be the best form! And these four options are my favorite by far. But there are plenty more on the website you all could check out if these are not your cup of tea.
There are plenty more on the website so please feel free to explore. And if you make any of these recipes don’t forget to tag me @melissas_healthykitchen over on Instagram so I can see your creations. Happy Baking friends.
