I love getting festive with my food for the holidays. Because not only are they cute and festive. But they are easy to throw together and extra delicious. And here are some festive and delicious Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s day ideas to make for your loved ones.
- Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Baked Donuts
- Mini banana pancakes
- Banana and strawberry heart skewers
And for the mini banana pancakes, they air super easy to prepare. Grab your favorite pancake mix, add 1 tsp beet root powder, and mix. Slice 1-2 bananas into 1 inch thick coins, dip the banana in the batter, and add to a greased pan. And cook a couple minutes each side. Using a heart skewer, add a heart shaped strawberry, and a few of the mini pancakes.

Both of these appetizer are quick to throw together. And how cute and festive are they? Check out my guide on how to build a charcuterie board here and just tailor your’s to be valentine’s day theme. And for the heart caprese skewers, first slice your cherry tomatoes in half at a diagonal. and then flip one of them upside down to create a heart shaped tomato. But I also have a Instagram Reel you can check out for reference. And then use a 6 inch skewer and add basil, mozzarella ball, heart tomato, mozzarella ball, and basil.
