I was in the mood for some teriyaki salmon so I thought I would try it out in my air fryer. I swear I am never going back to baking or pan frying my salmon. If you haven’t tried making your salmon in an air fryer, I suggest you get on it ASAP, it seriously is a game changer. Primal Kitchen Foods is one of my favorite brands to use when it comes to sauces, ketchup, or dressings. They use real ingredients in all of their products and with 0 sugar added. If you are currently doing a Whole30 or a sugar detox, then definitely check them out.

To make the air fried salmon:

  1. Wild caught salmon filet (I did 6 oz)
  2. Primal Kitchen Foods No Soy Teriyaki Sauce
  3. Salt and Pepper to taste

Add all the ingredients to your salmon and let sit for about 5 minutes to marinate. I personally don’t like letting my salmon marinate too long because I have found in the past that it leaves my salmon tough, so less time is more. Then you are going to add to your air fryer, set to 370 F, and cook for 15 minutes (do less time if you don’t like it well done). It doesn’t get more simple than that my friends.


 To go with my teriyaki salmon I made my everything but the bagel sesame roasted Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. You can find the full recipe here. I also made a slaw because I am obsessed with mayo free slaws as of late. You can use this recipe here or try out this version I made with cashew butter (see below).

For the cashew butter slaw you will need:

  1. Cashew butter
  2. Apple cider vinegar
  3. Coconut aminos
  4. Salt and pepper to taste
  5. Coleslaw mix from Trader Joes
  6. Lime juice

You are going to add all the ingredients in a large bowl, mix, and store in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.

Air Fried Teriyaki Salmon with Veggies



  • 1 6 oz wild caught salmon filet
  • 2 Tbsp Primal Kitchen Foods No Soy teriyaki sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cashew butter slaw

  • 1 package of coleslaw
  • 2 Tbsp cashew butter
  • 2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp coconut aminos
  • Juice of a lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste



  • Add ingredients to salmon and let marinate for about 5 minutes
  • Add to air fryer set to 370 F and cook for 13-15 minutes

Cashew butter slaw

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix
  • Store in fridge for an hour before serving
