Hocus Pocus Charcuterie Board:

There is no denying it, charcuterie boards are my jam! And in honor of Hocus Pocus 2 coming out, I had to get extra festive, and create a Hocus Pocus charcuterie board.

  2. 8 oz brie wheels (two)
  3. Black cookie decorating gel
  4. Raspberries
  5. Strawberries
  6. Kiwi
  7. Cuties
  8. Blackberry jam
  9. Hocus Pocus Book and mummy brownie
  10. Peanut butter cups
  11. Pretzel sticks
  12. String Cheese
  13. White cheese of choice
  14. Blackberries

How to prepare Sanderson sisters:

And to save on cost, instead of buying 3 brie wheels, I only bought 2, and sliced each brie wheel in half. Add three rounds to the center of your board. And start to create each sister.

Sarah: First, chop your white cheese of choice in cubes. And add the chopped white cheese around the brie wheel to create her hair. Next add diced strawberries for her outfit. And draw her eyes and mole, using the black cookie decorating gel. But you could also use, sliced olives, or melted chocolate, if you can’t find the black decorating gel. And for the mouth, slice a strawberry as best as you can to create a smile.

Winifred: Roll up salami or pepperoni tightly to create her hair. And add to the board trying to resemble an M of sorts. Add sliced kiwis for her outfit. And add a sliced raspberry for mouth, small pepperonis for her blushed cheeks, and black cookie decorating gel for eyes.

Mary: Add blackberries to create her hair. And add peeled cuties for her outfit. Slice a strawberry for mouth and draw on eyes with black cookie decorating gel.

How to make spooky mummy and Hocus Pocus brownies:

And for the spooky brownies, I suggest making these ahead of time, so you have ready to go. You can get the full details on how to make them here.

How to make Binx:

And using the last half of one of the brie wheels. Place a cat cookie cutter to the center of the brie and press in, to create the cat. And spread on some blackberry jam or any dark jam onto the cheese, to create the cat. But you could also spread on some melted dark chocolate or use the black cookie decorating gel too.

How to make witches brooms:

I went with two different versions of brooms. Because I wanted to have different options. But you don’t have to do both if you don’t want to.

Peanut butter cup brooms: add a peanut butter cup face down and place a pretzel stick in the middle.

String cheese brooms: cut one string cheese into thirds. And with a knife, create slits half way through the piece of cheese, to create the broom look. Then place a pretzel stick in the middle.

How to make mozzarella eye balls:

And to make these mozzarella eye balls, simply add some diced olives to some mozzarella balls.

What crackers or chips should I use?

Feel free to use any crackers, bread, or chips for your board. But I was determined to try and find some ghost chips to complete my board. And although, Trader Joes didn’t bring back their ghost chips this year. I was able to find these ghost and bat chips at Target.

And the last step:

Have fun! Feel free to put your own spin to your boards. And don’t stress over it, this should be fun, not stressful. But if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out, I am happy to help in any way I can!
