Grass fed beef sliders:

Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean the sliders have to stop! And this meal is one of my favorites to throw together during the busy weeknights or for an entertaining option.

Ingredients you will need:

  1. Grass fed + finished ground beef or any type of meat you like
  2. Yellow onion
  3. Homemade special sauce
  4. Awgbakery Everyday Grain Free Minis (substitute any type of rolls you like)
  5. Primal Palate Meat and Potato seasoning (substitute: oregano, paprika, onion powder)
  6. Garlic powder
  7. Salt and pepper
  8. Ghee or avocado oil
  9. Bacon
  10. Homemade guacamole or avocado slices
  11. Spicy brown mustard + ketchup
  12. Potatoes

How to prep the meat patties:

For the meat patties, you can either make sliders or larger patties. Bring the meat to room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Season with the seasoning, mix with your hands, and form into desired size patties. And add to a hot grill pan and cook a few minute each side. Cook time will depend on how you like your burgers, I like mine more on the medium well side.

Baking bacon:

I love to bake my bacon. I add the bacon slices to a lined baking dish with parchment paper. And bake 400°F for 20-23 minutes, flipping half way through. And once done, transfer to a dish  and pat off excess oil with a paper towel.

Oven baked French fries:

I personally love to make my fries from scratch. But feel free to use whatever type of frozen French fries you dig too. Wash the potatoes really well, dry, and slice into French fries. Add to a lined baking sheet, with avocado oil, meat and potato seasoning, salt + pepper, and mix it all up. Bake 425°F for 40-50 minutes, flipping half way through. And let rest for 5 minute on tray before serving.

Homemade special sauce:

My homemade special sauce, is super easy, and seriously makes these burgers 100%. Simply add all the ingredients to a bowl, mix, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. I personally like to prep mine in advance so I have it ready to go.

Guacamole spread:

I like to make some homemade guacamole for the sliders and use it as a spread. But you can also use sliced avocado. Just mix 1-2 small avocados, with 1/2 lime juiced, garlic powder, salt + pepper.

Putting the sliders together:

And once you have everything done, the fun part is building your sliders. I like to set up stations on my counter with all these items and everyone can create their own burger creation the way they like it.
