Keto Friendly nut and seed butter:

Now if you know the way I roll, you know that I am all about making most things from scratch. And one of my favorites is homemade nut/seed butters. Because it is super easy to prep, it helps save money, and you can tailor the flavor combinations to your liking.

Why sugar free?

I have been trying to keep my sugar dragon at bay, because I have been having some health issues. And I wanted to give my body a break from too much sugar to see how it responds. A lot of the times if you check ingredients in some of the store bought nut butters, they sometimes contain sugar. That is why I typically will try and make my own at home because I can tailor it to what works for my body.

What you will need for the nut butter:

  1. Macadamia nuts
  2. Pumpkin seeds
  3. Pecans
  4. Almonds
  5. Chia Seeds
  6. Flaxseeds
  7. Unsweetened coconut shreds

How to make the nut/seed butter:

Simply add all the ingredients to a food processor and process for about 5-6 minutes. But be sure to stop and scrape down the sides of the food processor throughout the time. Once you get your creamy consistency, transfer to a mason jar, and let the butter cool before you close the jar.

What to use your nut/seed butter with:

You can add your homemade butter to yogurt, cottage cheese, toast, baked goods, blissballs, or on top of fruit. The possibilities are endless and I can’t wait to see your creations.
