  4. Diced tomatoes with green chilies
  5. Sour cream
  6. Shredded cheese
  7. Black olives
  8. Cherry tomatoes
  9. Green onions

How to prepare homemade guacamole layer:

There is nothing better than homemade guacamole! But if you are in a time crunch you could always use store bought. But trust me, it will take you like 5 minutes to prepare this guacamole. And the flavor can’t be beat. Mix avocados, garlic powder, lime juice, salt and pepper, chopped cilantro in a bowl. And taste test to assure seasoning is on point. And set aside until ready to assemble the dip.

Preparing the bean layer:

And next comes the bean layer. Mix refried beans, taco seasoning, salt and pepper to taste, and diced tomatoes with green chilies. But make sure you drain all the liquid from the tomatoes. Because you don’t want to end up with a watery dip. And set aside until you are ready to assemble the dip.

Assembling the 7 layer dip:

And now comes the fun part, assembling the 7 layer dip. Start by adding the bean mixture to a round large pan or dish. Add an even layer of sour cream on top of the bean mixture. And then add an even layer of the guacamole on top. Add the shredded cheese around the edge of the pan, creating a circle of cheese. And add diced olives, cherry tomatoes, and green onions all around.

How to create the web look:

Add some sour cream to a squeeze bottle. And if too thick, add a little bit of water to thin it out. Create lines forming a star and then a circle around outer edge and one in middle to create the web look.

Making the spooky spider:

And lastly, make your spooky spider out of black olives. Add half an olive to center, add 4 sliced olives on each side to form the spider
