I am all about the one pan wonders for those quick weeknight dinner meals. After sitting in traffic for over an hour, the last thing I really want to do is have to prepare dinner. However, I have found that when I can stick to 15 minute meals that only require one pan, it makes my life a lot easier during the week. This meal can also be prepared in advance during your meal prep Sunday, so that all you have to do during the week is reheat.

What I used in this surf and turf one pan wonder includes:

  1. Wild caught shrimp
  2. Buy Ranch Direct bison sausage links
  3. Red bell peppers
  4. Zucchini
  5. Onions
  6. Jalapeno
  7. Broccoli slaw (substitute pasta)
  8. Tomato sauce
  9. Garlic
  10. Avocado oil

Simple heat your avocado oil in a pan, add your jalapeno, onions, bell peppers, and saute for 5-7 minutes. Then add in your sausage, minced garlic, and cook for a few minutes. Next add in your shrimp and cook for a few minutes. Lastly add in some fresh herbs and zucchini and cook until the zucchini has softened (about 5 minutes).

I then top with broccoli slaw and add a little bit of water to steam the broccoli slaw. I cook for a couple minutes and then add in my tomato sauce, and dinner is done in under 15 minutes. It really doesn’t get easier than that my friends.
