I am rookie when it comes to cooking wings and drumsticks not going to lie. It is something I don’t really ever crave or want, but I knew it would be fun for a game day appetizer. I used Buy Ranch Direct wings and drumsticks for this recipe because they are the best. But you can use whatever you have access to.
I decided I wanted to bake the chicken wings and drumsticks and then coat them in the yummy date sauce I prepared. I simply added my drumsticks to a lined baking dish, added avocado oil, salt and pepper, and baked 400 for 30-35 minutes. While my chicken was cooking I began to prepare the sauce I was going to coat the chicken wings and drumsticks in.
For the sauce I used:
- Primal Palate New Bae seasoning
- Avocado oil
- Apple cider vinegar
- Soaked dates
I added it all to my food processor and processed until it was nice and smooth consistency. Once the chicken was done I coated it in the sauce. At this point you could enjoy, but if you want them extra crispy I would add to the air fryer on 370 for 10 minutes.
Then serve them with some avocado ranch dipping sauce for the ultimate snacking delight.
