How to cook cauliflower gnocchi:
There are lots of ways you can cook your cauliflower gnocchi which includes: pan frying, baking or, air frying. For this recipe I pan fried my gnocchi and here is how I did it.
- Heat your pan with 1 heaping tablespoon of ghee
- Add frozen gnocchi with salt and pepper to pan and cover your pan
- Let the gnocchi steam for a few minutes not stirring
- Remove lid, mix and cook a few minutes without the lid, with minimal stirring to let it get crispy
- If they start sticking you can add more ghee or add 1 tablespoon at a time of water, and mix
What you will need for the cauliflower gnocchi pasta dish:
- Buy Ranch direct ground turkey sausage
- 1 bag of frozen cauliflower gnocchi
- Salt and peper to taste
- Tomato sauce of your choosing
- Cilantro
How to prepare the pasta:
First cook your ground sausage in a pan with some ghee until no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes). Then transfer cooked sausage to a plate, add more ghee to pan, and add your cauliflower gnocchi. Cook your gnocchi as specified above. Once done add back in your sausage, tomato sauce, and fresh cilantro, and cook a few minutes.
