If you have never tried shishito peppers what are you waiting for? These are seriously my favorite to prep when I am wanting a delicious warm snack. This flavor combination of sesame oil, coconut aminos, juice of a lemon, salt + pepper, sesame seeds, is my favorite.

All you need to do is saute your shishito pepper in a pan with some avocado oil, salt and pepper. You want to get them nice and blistered and cook about 5-7 minutes. I try not to stir too much during the time so that each side can get nice and charred. Once they are done getting blistered I transfer them to a bowl and add the sesame oil, coconut aminos, lemon juice, sesame seeds, and mix.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that my friends. You can also prepare these in advance my meal prepping them on Sunday. The night you plan on enjoying just reheat in your pan for a few minutes.
